May this serve as an example of how people are, in many cases, wrongfully treated because of their disability, whatever it may be. I would like to take a chance to encourage others to stand up for themselves and their own rights. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to stoop down to that person’s level and yell or be rude in return. So often people are ashamed when something like this happens and they silence their voice by keeping their experience to themselves. If no forward action is ever made, who’s to say the same thing won’t happen to another person? When you stand up for your own rights, you are also standing up for others.
I’m in a little bit of a reggae mood now. Partake in the vibes if you’d like. :)
